The Eldest Wyrm
Maerya is said to predate many of the world's familiar powers. Her name survives in fragmented tales, scholarly speculation, and explanations for relics no living culture can account for.
Unconfirmed and Unforgotten
No reliable sign of Maerya has been recorded in recent memory. That absence has done little to weaken belief that she still endures somewhere beyond ordinary reach.
