Work, Family, and Merriment
Halflings find enjoyment in hard work, join community with survival, and preserve history through story and song. Labour is followed by shared meals, music, and celebration, not because life is easy, but because joy makes difficult work worth doing.
Hearth and Wanderlust
Many remain close to farms, gardens, kitchens, breweries, and family homes for generations. Others feel the pull of distant roads and larger settlements. Their dress ranges from sturdy and colourful rural clothing to flamboyant fashions adopted abroad.
Never Underestimate Them
Halfling communities defend themselves with discipline and determination when threatened. They can be found throughout Auldwyn, including the Blackwater and Bumblevale, and are often ready to offer strangers a chance at friendship before passing judgment.
