Auldwyn remembers the sun.
Through the perils of the Vale and into the dark corners of the mountains, Auldwynfolk have pressed onward. Adventurers have braved the paths ahead, returning with hard-won knowledge and the resolve to venture out again. Through their efforts, the road from the Vale at Luciel’s Waystation now opens to the Farmlands on the eve of the Harvest Festival.
Beyond lies a memory brought back into the light: warm skies, earth rich with promise, and a life-giving sun. A place where the turning of the seasons once meant sowing and harvest, where the day’s labour could end with bread upon a table and light still lingering in the fields.
Such things are worth fighting for.
The Harvest Festival
Now, with the Harvest Festival beginning today, there is cause to gather and celebrate all week long. The nights are aglow with the light of merriment, and laughter carries where daylight has faded. After so much wandering through the dark, there is warmth to share, and a place at the festivities for those who helped bring it within reach.
Read more about the Harvest Festival in Sabre’s write-up on Discord.
To all who ventured into the dark, who stood beside their neighbours, who helped make another step possible, this road bears the mark of your courage. What lay beyond reach is now a place others may walk.
The Farmlands of Argent Hollow are open
Following Auldwyn's scheduled server reset this afternoon, the Farmlands of Argent Hollow will be open to travellers from the Mill. Built lovingly by our very own resident GM Wyvern, please take the road from Luciel’s Waystation and feel the sunlight for yourselves.
And there is more to come soon as the Hearthlands will continue to open up to the people of the Mill. Beyond the familiar paths, other places wait, holding fragments of a life the world has almost forgotten.
Step by step, through the deeds of its people, Auldwyn remembers who it was.
