Happy Autumn, Auldwyn!
We've been busy building for the past few months, and the numbers are starting to tell the story!
As you all know, the Argent Hollow Farmlands is the first in a series of updates for the next big expansion for Auldwyn. This new expansion is not yet released, but we thought you'd be interested in knowing how far we've come since our July launch!
Behind the scenes we can report that this new expansion alone now contains 21 new quest chains containing 64 stages. For perspective, at launch we supported 51 stages.
Stories and Conversations
- From 18 to 47 populated quest chains
- From 51 to 123 quest stages
- From 57 to 117 conversation files
- From 1,090 to 2,765 written interaction entries and player replies
- From approximately 23,900 to 58,300 words of dialogue, narration and interaction text
- From 54 to 104 registered NPC profiles
The core expansion conversations alone contain over 28,000 words, which is more written interaction text than what we delivered at launch.
And the original content has continued growing alongside it, gaining eight additional quest stages and revisions to fourteen existing conversation graphs.
A Bigger World
Across the module:
- From 58 to 92 areas
- 7,924 additional scenery placements
- 782 additional area sounds
- More than double the combined world footprint!
- 13 regional music tracks newly assigned to areas, including distinct day, night, and faction themes.
More to Do
Very shortly there will be new stories to follow, relationships to build, factions to encounter, challenges to return to, and plenty of reasons to take your time exploring.
